The Learning and Teaching of Language Arts at Secondary Level

The following exemplars are a synthesis of the experience and suggestions from schools participating in the Collaborative Research & Development ("Seed") Project entitled "The Learning and Teaching of Language Arts at Secondary Level". These exemplars contain teaching steps, worksheets and video clips demonstrating how the lessons could be conducted. In some exemplars, alternative teaching steps, learner work samples, learners' comments and teaching extracts are also included to provide teachers with further insights into the exemplars. Teachers are encouraged to use the exemplars as reference and adapt them to suit the needs and interests of the learners.
