Special Educational Needs Primary / Secondary SE0218 Building Teachers’ Capacity to Assess the Learning Progress of Students with Intellectual Disabilities Through the Use of Learning Progression Framework of Chinese Language (Primary 1 – Secondary 3)

Applicants should be serving teachers of special schools in the aided sector.  They should possess a Teacher’s Certificate/Certificate or Diploma of Education/equivalent academic qualifications and no less than three years (as at 31 August 2018) of full-time teaching experience in the relevant subjects in special schools. Candidate with prior training in special education and a relevant degree would be an advantage. Priority will be given to applicants with the following academic qualifications:

(i)     prior training in special education and a relevant degree;

(ii)    degree holder of Chinese Language and relevant subjects, or Chinese Language subject-trained teacher.

Primary / Secondary SE0518 Developing and Trying-out of English Language Curriculum Framework for Students with Intellectual Disabilities (Primary 1 – Secondary 3)

Applicants should be serving teachers of special schools in the aided sector.  They should possess a Teacher’s Certificate/Certificate or Diploma of Education/equivalent academic qualifications, have met the Language Proficiency Requirement of English, and no less than three years (as at 31 August 2018) of full-time teaching experience in the relevant subjects in special schools. Candidate with prior training in special education and a relevant degree would be an advantage. Priority will be given to applicants with the following academic qualifications:

(i)     prior training in special education and a relevant degree;

Applicants should be serving AEOs/GMs (or above) of secondary schools in the government or aided sector or schools under the Direct Subsidy Scheme.  They should have a university degree in mathematics or a subject related to mathematics, a diploma/certificate in education and not less than three years (as at 31 August 2018) of full-time teaching experience in the Mathematics subject at secondary level. Applicants with experience in organizing learning activities of STEM education are preferred.
