Common Difficulties in Assessing Salaries of Teachers

 

Aided schools are responsible for accurately assessing the salary of their staff paid out of the Salaries Grant in accordance with the Codes of Aid and related stipulations.

 

The following examples show some cases of teaching staff in aided schools (including special schools), in which schools may encounter difficulties in assessing their salaries:

Examples for Primary Schools:
 

(a)

 

Changing of grade at basic ranks

Changing from graduate to non-graduate grade

Regrading from non-graduate to graduate grade
