School Registration
Definition of School
According to section 3(1) of the Education Ordinance, “school” means an institution, organization or establishment which provides for 20 or more persons during any one day or eight or more persons at any one time, any nursery, kindergarten, primary, secondary or post secondary education or any other educational course by any means, including correspondence delivered by hand or through the postal services.
A. Registration of a New School
Briefing Session:
Date: May and June 2013
Venue: Room 1419, 14/F Wu Chung House, 213 Queen's Road East, Wanchai, Hong Kong
Content:
Briefings will be conducted in Cantonese and mainly focus on matters related to the applications for registration of schools in premises not designed and constructed as a school. Individuals and organizations e.g. non-governmental organizations that intend to run educational courses are welcome to attend.
