Community Care Fund – School-based Fund for Cross Boundary Learning Activities

Introduction

The Community Care Fund – School-based Fund for Cross Boundary Learning Activities (“the Fund”) is one of the assistance programmes under the Community Care Fund (CCF).  The objective of the Fund is to subsidise students from low-income families to participate in cross-boundary learning activities, so as to widen their horizons and learning experiences.  The Fund is a three-year programme (July 2011 to June 2014).  The target beneficiaries are Primary 1 to Secondary 7 students studying in Hong Kong government, aided and caput schools and schools under the Direct Subsidy Scheme who are in receipt of the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance, or full or half grant provided by the Student Financial Assistance Agency (SFAA).  Students who meet the “financially needy” criteria as determined by individual schools are also eligible.
