Schedule
l Application to government, aided and caput schools as well as
DSS schools participating in SSPA *
[Application period from 3 January to 24 January 2011]
- Apply for the issuance of the Application Form for S1 Discretionary Place from the School Places Allocation Section of EDB during office hours from early December 2010 to 24 January 2011, bringing along the originals of student-applicants' identity documents
- Submit the Application Form for S1 Discretionary Place and documents required to the school direct from 3 January to 24 January 2011
l Application to DSS schools not participating in SSPA

l Application for a subsidised S1 place for 2011/12 school year *
[To be allocated by EDB]
- Apply for a subsidised S1 place at the School Places Allocation Section of EDB during office hours from May to August 2011, bringing along the originals of student-applicants' identity documents. Places available after central allocation will be allocated to eligible applicants by EDB
- The results of the first batch of applications will be announced in early July, the second batch in early August, the third batch in mid August 2011, and thereafter students will be informed individually
[ * Eligibility for application: Applicants must be a Hong Kong resident, have never been allocated an S1 place through SSPA and have never studied in government, aided, caput, DSS and English Schools Foundation secondary schools. ]
