The report of the Sub-committee on Special Education under The Board of Education published in 1996 recommended to establish a resource centre for special education teachers to generate a data-base and a network for communication among all special education teachers and special education personnel as well.
Equipment and Facilities
There are lots of multi-media facilities equipped in the Centre for the production of teaching materials by teachers.Besides, updated journals, magazines and books on special education as well as school-based curriculum projects are also available for teachers' and publics' reference.
