Support Resources for Life and Society (Secondary 1-3): Secondary 1

 

The “Support Resources for Life and Society (Secondary 1-3)” aims to support the learning and teaching of Life and Society. Its design is based on the current Life and Society curriculum and aligned with the ongoing development of the curriculum. The “Resources” will further support the implementation of the curriculum.

 

The “Resources” restructures and updates the highly connected contents of the current Life and Society curriculum to enhance learning and teaching effectiveness of the subject. It provides diversified learning activities to help students acquire knowledge and understand important concepts, develop skills and nurture positive values and attitudes. In addition, it offers teaching guidelines and suggestions on learning and teaching activities for teachers’ reference. Further, the “Resources” provides “Joyful reading” and self-learning materials to enhance students’ interest in reading, and cultivate students’ self-learning capacity.
