What's New

 Date Event
2021.01In view of the COVID-19 epidemic, we have accepted applications submitted by all public sector primary and secondary schools implementing e-learning for their eligible students before full resumption of classes. The number of school applications for joining the Programme in this school year has largely increased, and more than 850 school applications have been received. As the demand for mobile computer devices is very large, it may take a longer time than usual for suppliers to deliver the products ordered. In this connection, participating schools should undertake the procurement procedures as early as possible to cater for students’ learning needs under the new normal. All participating schools are required to complete the procurement and then return the required documents* to us on or before 30 April 2021 (Friday) so that funding adjustment/ disbursement could be arranged before the end of this school year. Please note that the 2020/21 school year is the last year for the implementation of this 3-year Assistance Programme, all payments should be settled before the Programme ends. For enquiries, please contact the IT in Education Section of the Education Bureau at 3698 4149 or 3698 3670.
*The required documents are: (1) the completed Excel file on devices and student beneficiaries; (2) the reply slip confirming the distribution of devices; and (3) the copy of invoice/payment receipt.
