#Note: Support of Windows 2000 has been expired by the Microsoft Limited. For schools using ESDA on Windows 2000, it is suggested to upgrade the windows platform.  Besides, support of Windows 2000 ESDA is no longer provided from the 2012/13 school year.  For migration of ESDA on Windows platform, please contact the Indicators Section of the Education Bureau.
      * Note: Most of the schools are now running ESDA on Windows, only a few schools are running ESDA on Linux. There is a wide variation in their Linux distributions which often leads to compatibility problems. Moreover, in contrast with Windows, Linux users are required to have more sophisticated technical knowledge in managing their systems, but support from software suppliers is often limited. As a result, some functions of ESDA could not perform normally on the system. Therefore, EDB will phase out the Linux version of ESDA, system update and support are no longer provided from the 2012/13 school year. For migration from Linux to Windows platform, please contact the Indicators Section of the Education Bureau.

  • Stakeholder Survey Package
    Download ItemsDescription
Schools are required to import the Stakeholder Survey Package onto the ESDA once a year, which facilitates schools to administer their Stakeholder Survey in the school year concerned and use the most updated report template for reporting.  Schools are required to complete this procedure at the beginning of the new school year. Otherwise, schools will not be able to administer the questionnaire via the system. For details, please refer to Section 4.3.1 – Import Stakeholder Survey Package of the Operation Manual of school's ESDA.

  • KPM Reference Data
    Download ItemsDescription
    KPM Reference Data Package
In line with the implementation of the School Development and Accountability Framework, the EDB invites schools, on a yearly basis, to submit KPM data, which help the Bureau update the Reference Data, if necessary, to reflect the most updated situation of schools in KPM items in order to support the evidence-based school self-evaluation.

The Bureau has completed the data analysis for the 2021/22 school year. Schools may download the KPM Reference Data for the 2021/22 school year and update the ESDA according to the procedures.
