ESDA – Introduction

E-Platform for School Development and Accountability (ESDA) is

• a platform built on the Self-evaluation Platform (SEP) on Information Technology in Education (ITEd).
• a one-stop system for managing school self-evaluation data (see the figure below).
• used by schools to collect and manage self-evaluation data, including the administration of on-line Stakeholder Survey (SHS), assessing students’ affective and social outcomes, performing analysis of data collected, and publishing the related data reports, thus promoting their efficiency in conducting SSE and alleviating teachers’ workload.
• used by schools to submit KPM and SHS data to the EDB on a need basis, through simple procedure, to help the EDB to produce reference data.
