[Archive] Supplementary School Allocation Exercise 2005

Introduction

   

Supplementary School Allocation Exercise 2005 has started.  A kindergarten premises is made available for allocation in this exercise.  [For press release, please click here PDF (19 KB)]

   

The applicant body is required to complete an application form and submit it together with supporting documents including detailed information on its eligibility,  a proposed school plan of not more than 10 PAGES including all annexes plus a 3-page executive summary. The applicant SSB may make reference to the school(s) that it is operating and the respective performance of the school(s) to substantiate its case. 

   

All applications will be considered by a School Allocation Committee (SAC) PDF (29 KB) comprising both government officials and non-officials familiar with the Hong Kong education system. For its power and function, please see Terms of Reference PDF (20 KB).

   

Allocation of kindergarten premises is on a competitive basis.  Quality of education will be the prime consideration in assessing the applications.  Factors to be considered include the operation track record of the SSBs and the school plans submitted by the SSBs.
