Theme-based Reading

• Suggested Book Lists

To facilitate the promotion of reading in schools, the Education Bureau suggests related book lists of theme-based reading for reference by kindergartens, primary and secondary schools as appropriate.

The suggested themes are as follows:

Basic information such as the names of authors, ISBN, etc. are provided in the book lists with a brief description of the key points. The lists are not meant to be exhaustive. Schools may freely select different themes and books from other sources based on their professional judgement and student learning needs.
