The Education Bureau (EDB) has been maintaining contact with publishers, requiring them to comply with the Policy of Debundling Textbooks and Teaching/Learning Materials for Pricing by providing separate pricing for textbooks and their accompanying learning materials (such as e-learning accounts/activation codes and workbooks), and clearly listing the debundled prices of such learning materials and the contact information of the relevant publishers on the school textbook lists. To facilitate students in choosing second-hand textbooks or their parents in purchasing the extra learning materials that accompany textbooks, the EDB encourages schools to consider providing collective ordering services for such learning materials.
Students or parents who wish to purchase the learning materials accompanying textbooks separately may place their orders directly with the respective publishers. For the contact information of the publishers, please visit the Information on the Supply of Textbooks webpage.
