Theme: Innovative Solutions for Promoting Community Health
It aims to showcase students’ achievement in health and social innovations as well as to demonstrate students’ outstanding learning outcomes in field learning. The event will be held on 27 June 2026 at the Learning and Teaching Expo 2026 and consists of :
- Showcase of students’ achievements in health and social innovations
- Field Learning Forum: Innovation, Reflection, and the Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Competition on Innovative Solutions
- Competition on HMSC Outstanding Student Award

- Hands-on Task: Using data for reflection on the field learning with AI agents
- Application: Schools interested in arranging students to participate in the event should complete and return the application form on or before 18 June 2026 (Thursday).

| Remark | In the event of public announcement by the EDB that class suspension of all schools as a result of adverse weather conditions (e.g., tropical cyclone or rainstorm), the two competitions will be deferred to 4 July 2026 (Saturday) at West Block, Education Bureau Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre, 19 Suffolk Road, Kowloon Tong. Other activities will be cancelled. |
B. Competition on Innovative solutions
It aims to encourage Secondary 1-6 students to apply knowledge and skills in the Technology Education Key Learning Area such as the applications of information technology, product design and social innovation to propose creative and feasible solutions that promote community health. |

- Each secondary school can nominate at most two teams of students to participate (1-4 students for each team)
- Category - outcomes of learning activities / students’ winning project of competition(s): including annotated sketches / prototypes / computer 3D models/ webpage / mobile apps / services / activities / proposal etc.
- The shortlisted teams will be invited to introduce their solutions to the visitors in the exhibition during 10:00am – 3:00pm on 27 June 2026 (Saturday).
- Gold, silver and bronze awards will be given to the teams with outstanding performance.

C. Competition on HMSC Outstanding Student Award
It aims to showcase the outstanding performance of S4 to S6 students in designing and conducting field learning as well as in reflective thinking on the issues related to health and social care. |

Themes: Innovative Solution(s) in Field Learning of the Health Management and Social Care
Categories: (A) Innovative Field Learning Design (Teams)
- acknowledging students of their in-depth understanding on the subject knowledge and concepts as well as the innovative thinking during the process in designing the field learning
(B) Reflection on Innovative Solutions to Health / Social Care in Field Learning (Individuals)
- acknowledging students who show outstanding reflective abilities and critical thinking in applying knowledge and experiences in field learning to suggest innovative solutions to health / social care
- Students can participate individually or in teams, depending on the categories
- Each student can only be nominated for ONE category.
- Each school can nominate at most three teams (1-4 students each) of S4 – S6 students to participate.
- The students / teams shortlisted for interviews will be notified on or before 27 March 2026 (Friday) to attend a 5-minute interview with the judges about the design / reflection on one of the days between 26 and29 May 2026.
- The students / teams with outstanding performance will be shortlisted to give a final presentation on 27 June 2026 (Saturday).
- Each category includes: Gold Award, Silver Award and Bronze Award.
- Each Outstanding Student Award winner will be recognised with a certificate of appreciation with a book coupon
