Briefing on Procedures for Submission of Textbooks for Review


The course will be re-run every year. The relevant information will be available in due course.

The Education Bureau’s Recommended Textbook List (RTL) (www.edb.gov.hk/rtl) and Recommended e-Textbook List (eRTL) (www.edb.gov.hk/ertl) aim to facilitate schools in making appropriate choices of quality textbooks and learning materials. Textbooks and learning materials on the RTL and eRTL have been reviewed and considered as acceptable by the textbook review panels of the Textbook Committee. To deepen interested individuals / educational publishers’ understanding of the mechanism and procedures for submission of printed textbooks and e-textbooks for review, a briefing will be arranged with details as follows:

Each publishers may nominate at most THREE textbook writers / editors to the briefing. To encourage frontline staff to understand our textbook review mechanism, TWO additional places are reserved for your sales and marketing representatives / managers. Interested parties please complete and return the Enrolment Form PDF (149KB) by email (textbook@edb.gov.hk) by noon 9 February 2024 (Friday). A confirmation email will be sent to successful applicants in due course. Late enrolment will NOT be accepted.
