Progressive Learning Journey for School Managers

  Learning Journey for School Managers

"Manager", in a relation to a school, means a person who is registered as a manager of the school under the Education Ordinance. As a member of the school governance body, it is crucial to have broad knowledge and should master the knowledge and skills of school governance. Thus, we hope that the "Progressive Learning Journey for School Managers" could help school managers enhance their understanding of school-based management, gain deeper understanding of roles and functions of school managers, achieve synergy through stakeholders’ participation in school governance and put in place checks and balances to facilitate effective learning of students. The training provided on this webpage includes foundation, advanced and continuous learning to facilitate school managers to explore relevant issues according to their needs and learn at their own pace. The number of learning hours suggested for each topic is indicated so that school managers could draw up their self-learning schedule and compile their training records.
