The Visual Arts Gifted Education Programme

The Visual Arts Gifted Education Programme (the Programme) is co-organised by the Arts Education (AE) Section, Curriculum Development Institute of the Education Bureau and the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education. The Programme provides Level 3 off-school professional training for gifted education in secondary schools. It aims to enhance the development of art knowledge and skills of gifted students with potential in visual arts and nurture their talents for the development of Hong Kong's arts and cultural industries.

Visual Arts Gifted Education Programme – “Sparkling Artists” Art Exhibition
The exhibition showcases the achievements of the course “Sparkling Artists”, organised under the Programme and commissioned to the Hong Kong Arts Centre.  The six-month professional mentorship course provided off-school professional training for secondary students who demonstrate exceptional ability in visual arts to develop their artistic potential.  In addition, the exhibition also showcases the learning outcomes of the students who participated in the “Beijing Visual Arts Study Tour” under the Programme in July 2025, during which they attended a fine-drawing course by the Central Academy of Fine Arts (中央美術學院).
