Since 2023, the Curriculum Development Institute (CDI) of the Education Bureau (EDB) and the Hong Kong Tourism Board have co-organised the “Hong Kong Tourism Industry Student Summit”. The aims of the Summit are to enable students of Tourism and Hospitality Studies (THS) to enhance their understanding of the local tourism industry particularly on the latest tourism trends and how to promote Hong Kong to travellers in different markets, while offering a platform for students to exchange with the industry and strengthen their abilities in subject knowledge, communication and collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking, creativity and other skills.
