Mainland-Hong Kong Teachers Exchange and Collaboration Programme

The Programme has been implemented since the 2004/05 school year and is jointly organised by the Ministry of Education and the EDB.  Through collaboration between local education practitioners and Mainland expert teachers, the Programme aims to foster their professional exchange on learning and teaching which is aligned with the aims and objectives of the local curriculum, as well as the development needs of schools.  Areas of collaboration with a view to enhancing the quality of education include curriculum planning, collaborative lesson preparation, provision of expert advice, professional development programmes and inter-school sharing activities.
