It is of great significance for schools to participate in various international studies and assessments. International studies and assessments collect data on factors affecting student learning. Each participating school is provided with a school report from the project team. The school management could lead teachers to refer to the school-based report, along with other information and data, to gain a deeper understanding of student performance and jointly explore school development strategies to enhance learning and teaching effectiveness.

Participating in international studies and assessments as representatives of Hong Kong is not only an assessment of abilities but also a valuable learning journey for students. The EDB, in collaboration with the university project team and other educational organisations, organise various learning activities to deepen students' understanding of international studies and assessments and to enrich their learning experience.
Student Sharing Videos
Representatives of students who had participated in international studies and assessments shared that the assessments enabled them to apply subject knowledge to think about and solve problems in contexts related to daily life. These experiences not only helped broaden their horizons but also motivated them to take a more proactive approach to learning. They encouraged students who will participate in international studies and assessments to cherish these learning experiences.
Parents are key stakeholders in the school education process, playing crucial roles in supporting students' whole-person development. Parents encourage their children to adopt a positive attitude towards learning in their daily life and support them in participating in diversified learning activities, including various international studies and assessments, laying a solid foundation for students to perform well.
