Application for Hung Shui Kiu University Town Campus Area Sites

Introduction

We will develop three university towns, which are the San Tin, Hung Shui Kiu and Ta Kwu Ling University Towns in the Northern Metropolis, based on the concept of town area comprising campus area, I&T area, industrial area and living community, and plan around  “One Town, Five Elements” (i.e. education, I&T, industry, talent and urban development), so as to drive the overall development of the NM University Town. The campus area of the Hung Shui Kiu University Town and its adjoining technological area and industrical area (including the Hung Shui Kiu Industry Park, the Lau Fau Shan Digital Technology Hub and the Hong Kong Microelectronics Research and Development Institute (MRDI) at the Yuen Long InnoPark) will be jointly developed as a “Centre for Applied Post-secondary Education in Smart Manufacturing and Global Talent Cultivation”.  Therefore, we have launched three sites for eligible post-secondary institutions to submit applications for the construction of campuses to kick-start the campus area development of the Hung Shui Kiu University Town.
