JENESYS Programme (2016)

The Visit

The Hong Kong Delegation comprised of 71 members, including 1 school head, 4 teachers, 3 EDB officials and 63 secondary five students from Hong Kong. The delegation visited Japan from 13 to 21 December 2016. Within the 9-day visit, the delegation travelled to Tokyo, Kyoto, Shiga and Aichi. The delegates got a better understanding of the Japanese life and culture through visiting high schools, universities as well as historical and cultural sites. Student-delegates were also given the opportunity to stay in local families during the trip. Students built up valuable friendship with the Japanese by interacting with their host family members.

The visit was smooth completed and the Delegation returned to Hong Kong on 21 December 2016. All the student-delegates expressed that they were satisfied with the exchange visit and the trip was remarkable.
