Stories of the Hong Kong Palace Museum Treasures – Handmade Picture Book Creating Competition (Secondary) 2024/25 
The competition aims to encourage secondary students to appreciate the traditional Chinese treasures of the HKPM, and to apply knowledge of and skill in visual arts and language to create handmade picture books for nurturing their aesthetics, creativity, proper values and attitudes, as well as developing their national identity.

Stories of the Hong Kong Palace Museum Treasures – Animated Picture Book Creating Competition (Secondary) 2023/24  
The competition aims to encourage secondary students to appreciate the traditional Chinese treasures of the HKPM, and to integrate and apply knowledge of and skill in visual arts, language and technology to create animated picture books for nurturing their aesthetics, creativity, interest in digital art, as well as positive values and attitudes of inheriting traditional Chinese culture.

From the Hong Kong Palace Museum to STEAM Education – “Ignite the Passion for the HKPM” Lighting Design Competition (Secondary) 2022/23  
The competition aims to encourage students to appreciate the traditional Chinese treasures of the Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM), and to integrate and apply knowledge and skills of STEAM education to lighting design for nurturing students’ aesthetics, creativity, interest in learning the related areas, as well as positive values and attitudes of inheriting traditional Chinese culture.
