From the Hong Kong Palace Museum to STEAM Education – “Ignite the Passion for the HKPM” Lighting Design Competition


The competition aims to encourage students to appreciate the traditional Chinese treasures of the Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM), and to integrate and apply knowledge and skills of STEAM education to lighting design for nurturing students’ aesthetics, creativity, interest in learning the related areas, as well as positive values and attitudes of inheriting traditional Chinese culture.
