Teaching and Learning Resource Packages

The Government has implemented the kindergarten education scheme ("Scheme") starting from the 2017/18 school year, one of the medium-/long-term measures is to explore the feasibility of setting up resource centres to meet the needs of kindergartens (KGs) for more space for various learning activities.  In order to provide more space for children's play and exploration in the short run, collaborating with Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) and capitalizing on AFCD’s resources, EDB has commissioned the Hong Kong Baptist University to develop relevant resource packages based on the natural environment at the Lions Nature Education Centre in Tsiu Hang, Sai Kung and Wetland Park in Yuen Long, aiming to cultivate children’s positive attitude in caring for Nature and appreciation of life.
