Mainland Study Tours for Newly-joined Teachers

Programme Description

The Education Bureau organises the “Mainland Study Tours for Newly-joined Teachers” with an aim to enhance opportunities for newly-joined teachers to understand the country’s development and to strengthen their ability to nurture students’ sense of national identity.  The study tours cover a wide range of areas, including national education policies, the professional role and ethics of teachers, curriculum planning, continuing professional development of teachers, and technology-aided teaching and research. Participants also engage in visits to schools, featured industries/ high-tech enterprises or corporations, and cultural as well as historical sites.
