Onsite Teacher Workshop on National Security Education
In order to strengthen schools’ understanding of the importance of the overall planning of NSE at the curriculum level, the EDB organises Onsite Teacher Workshops (hereafter referred to as “the Workshop”) for all primary and secondary schools (including special schools), which implement the local curriculum, during the 2021/22 and 2022/23 school years. Through talks, discussions and interactive sessions in the Workshop, schools can have a holistic view on the implementation strategies for a whole-school curriculum planning of NSE, and enhance the understanding of the use of different learning and teaching resources to systemically implement NSE within and beyond the classroom. It is important for all teaching staff to join to synergise efforts and form consensus in safeguarding national security. Regarding the Onsite Teacher Workshop on National Security Education, please refer to Education Bureau Circular Memorandum No. 112/2021.National Security Education Knowledge Enrichment Seminar Series
