Stakeholder Survey

 

Purpose

Stakeholder survey aims at collecting views of parents, teachers and supporting staff (clerk and janitor staff) regarding school performance in various aspects. Through the analysis of survey results, schools may review their current state of performance, which in turn enhances the school self-evaluation.

 

Procedure and workflow

Method (1) : Individual teachers key in their responses to the questionnaire on a computer

  1. 1. Download a survey result analysis tool
School downloads "Stakeholder Survey Result Analysis Tool (Advanced Version)" ["Analysis Tool (Advanced Version)" in short], which includes "Teacher Survey Tool" and "Stakeholder Survey Result Analysis Tool"
  1. 2. Fill in the questionnaires
Teacher Survey
  1. a.School activates the "Teacher Survey Tool" and creates accounts for teachers
  2. b.Individual teachers key in their responses to the questionnaire using the "Teacher Survey Tool"
Parent Survey
School downloads the questionnaire, then prints and distributes hard copies of the questionnaire to parents according to the sample size and the distribution method suggested by the "Stakeholder Survey: Parents - Sample Size Calculator" and the "Stakeholder Survey: Parents - Sampling Method" respectively
Supporting Staff (Clerk and Janitor Staff) Survey
School downloads, prints and distributes hard copies of the questionnaire to supporting staff (clerk and janitor staff)
  1. 3. Enter questionnaire responses
  1. a. School exports the teacher survey data from "Teacher Survey Tool" to "Stakeholder Survey Result Analysis Tool"
  2. b. Using the "Stakeholder Survey Result Analysis Tool", school keys in the responses of the following surveys
  • Parents
  • Supporting Staff (Clerk and Janitor Staff)
  1. 4. Review the survey analysis results
After compiling the data, the "Analysis Tool (Advanced Version)" will generate the following
  • distribution of responses in terms of percentages and mean
  • comparison of responses of different stakeholders
  • comparison of responses of parents from different grade levels

 

Method (2) : School collects completed questionnaires from teachers and enter the responses collectively
