Mainland-Hong Kong Teachers Exchange & Collaboration Programme


The Mainland–Hong Kong Teachers Exchange and Collaboration Programme, financed by the Education Development Fund, was first introduced in 2005 to local primary and secondary schools. The Programme, extended to local kindergartens in 2007, aims at fostering the exchange and collaboration between both local and Mainland teachers in designing and implementing music, physical and art activities.

Modes of Study


During the project period, kindergartens will participate in the workshops on respective learning and teaching skills under different focal points to be conducted by the Mainland teachers. The Mainland teachers will pay regular visits to schools to co-plan diversified visual art or music activities with school teachers through various means of collaboration, including activity planning, class observations and post-activity discussions.
