  • Apply for the issuance of the Application Form for Secondary One Discretionary Place from the School Places Allocation Section of EDB during office hours from 5 December 2019 to 16 January 2020, bringing along the originals of student-applicants' identity documents
  • Submit the Application Form for Secondary One Discretionary Place and documents required to the school direct from 2 January to 16 January 2020
  • Secondary schools participating in SSPA will notify parents of successful applicants of their children's inclusion in the Successful Lists for Discretionary Places on 7 April 2020
  • If student-applicants are admitted by participating secondary schools or Jockey Club Ti-I College at DP stage, the secondary school concerned will call the parents to inform them of the application results and the related arrangements on 7 July 2020, i.e. the date of announcement of the allocation results

  • Application for a subsidised S1 place for 2020/21 school year

  • Aapplicants* may apply for a subsidised S1 places from May to August 2020.  Places available after central allocation will be allocated to eligible applicants by EDB.  Parents may call 2832 7740 or 2832 7700 during office hours to make an appointment by phone and visit the School Places Allocation Section of EDB at the designated time for submitting the application.  Parents should bring along with the originals of student applicant's identity documents upon submission of application concernedNote
  • [*Eligibility for application: Applicants must be a Hong Kong resident, have never been allocated an S1 place through SSPA and have never studied in government, aided, caput, DSS secondary schools and English Schools Foundation secondary schools.]
  • [Note: If parents could not submit the application in person owing to personal reason, he/she may authorise a representative to proceed the related procedures on his/her behalf.  The authorised person should bring along with the original of letter of authorisation signed by parent (Please click to download Sample Letter of Authorisation), the copy of parent's identity document, the originals of student applicant's identity documents and the copy of student applicant's birth certificate.]
  • The results of the first batch of applications will be announced on 7 July 2020, the second batch in early August, the third batch in mid-August 2020, and thereafter students will be informed individually
